Amjad Islam Amjad is a renowned playwright and poet from Pakistan. He is considered to be one of the most influential figures in the country’s literary culture. He is best known for his play titled “Kaun Hai Yeh Gustakh” (Who Is This Stranger) which was later adapted into a movie in the 1980s. He is also the recipient of numerous awards, including the Pride of Performance Award by the President of Pakistan in 1998.
