An important notification has been issued by the Benazir Income Support Program regarding the start of new installments.
According to this new notification, the installment of Rs. 13,500 will be released. Additionally, some beneficiaries will also receive funds for their children’s educational scholarships, while others may not. There are clear distinctions regarding eligibility, and we will keep you informed about who qualifies for these payments.
Who Will Receive the Benazir Program Payment?
Some beneficiaries who were receiving money earlier will not receive payments this time. The government has permanently stopped payments for some, while others have had their money temporarily halted. We will explain the reasons for these issues and provide guidance on how to get your installment released.
Individuals facing issues with the Jazz cash Portal or Dynamic Registry registration will also be updated on their eligibility status.
How to Check BISP 8171 Balance Online?
Using CNIC to Check Balance
A significant update has been made to the 8171 web portal, making it easier to check your balance. Now, users can track the exact amount in their accounts. We will guide you through the complete process of checking your Benazir Program balance using CNIC and other easy methods.
Educational Scholarships – Who Qualifies for Double Installments?
The government has confirmed that many beneficiaries will receive double installments of educational scholarships. Some districts have already received these double payments, while others are yet to get them. This time, the government will ensure that all remaining districts receive their funds.
Beneficiaries who previously had education allowance funds pending in their accounts will receive double installments alongside the Rs. 13,500 payment.
Eligibility and Dynamic Survey – Who Is Affected?
Many families will not receive the Rs. 13,500 installment due to their dynamic survey status. Those who did not complete their dynamic survey have become permanent non-beneficiaries and will have to wait two more years before they can apply again.
Women who re-registered and saw an increase in their PMT (Poverty Means Test) score may also have been disqualified. However, those who remain eligible will certainly receive their payments, including both the Rs. 13,500 maintenance money and educational scholarships.
When Will the New Installments Be Released?
The government does not announce exact payment dates to prevent overcrowding at collection centers. However, based on previous updates, the new installment is expected to be released between April 5 and April 10.
Beneficiaries should check the 8171 portal regularly to confirm their payment status. The installment will be released gradually over the first and second weeks of April.
Important Update: Withdraw Your Previous Installment
To receive the new installment, withdraw any remaining balance from your previous installment. The Benazir Program now requires beneficiaries to clear their accounts before the next payment is added.
Many people prefer to accumulate multiple installments and withdraw them together, but this approach can lead to complications. It is advised to withdraw your payments as soon as they are released to avoid issues with future installments.
