I showed you OPPO’s Reno 13 5G.
And after that I showed you Reno 13 Pro.
But in Reno series, 3 models have been launched.
And today I have brought the most affordable variant for you.
Which is OPPO Reno 13F.
Importance in the Pakistani Market
This mobile phone is considered a very important device in the Pakistani market.
Because if you talk about its price tag, then it is coming in the price tag of Rs 79,999.
Now this Reno 13F or F series in general, this is a very interesting series.
The reason is that when Reno 11 came, then at that time 11F 5G came.
That is, we got the 5G variant.
When the 12 series came, we got both 4G and 5G.
And now that 13 has come, 5G has been removed, and we are only getting the 4G variant.
Performance Expectations
It is also very important to add that on this channel, I have considered OPPO’s best device in price to performance — that was Reno 11F 5G.
So if the 5G variant would have come in 13F, and if it would have come below Rs 1,00,000, then I think it would have been on a very sweet spot.
But this mobile phone is its 4G variant.
And we will judge it in the same way.
You get 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage in this mobile phone.
The color we have is called Graphite Gray.
AI Features in a Budget Model
And Reno 13F becomes such a series of OPPO in which I was not expecting that OPPO will put all its AI features.
But OPPO has put it, so we will discuss them too.
And we will also discuss this thing — in this price range, according to the rest of the competition, where does this mobile phone stand.
Unboxing Experience
You get to see a case inside the box.
This is exactly the same case which is coming with the higher end variants of this mobile phone.
So this is good that you are getting to see premiumness.
Apart from that, there are some safety guides.
You get a PTA sticker.
Finally, you get to see your device inside the box.
And further in the box, you get to see your cable which is type A to type C.
And you get to see this SuperVOOC charging brick which will charge this mobile phone at 45W.
And you have your SIM ejection pin.
So let’s take it out.
And that is pretty much it for the box.
Design and Build
If you look at the backside, you get to see this beautiful design.
But let’s check the backside.
You get to see a triple camera setup on the backside of this mobile phone.
And on the backside, there is a main camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera, and a 2MP portrait camera.
You get to see the plastic build on the backside of this mobile phone.
Whereas on the front side, there is a special OPPO glass which has been installed for protection.
I will put its exact name here.
This is exactly the same glass which you get to see on the Reno 12F.
Display Quality
And the display here — this is also exactly the same display which you get on the Reno 12F.
So the quality of the display has never been improved.
One more thing I would like to add here is that this is an AMOLED display.
Along with that, it comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
And this is a 120Hz refresh rate display.
The brightness of this display is quite decent.
And in good bright environments, you will be able to use this display very easily.
Processor and Performance
Apart from that, if you talk about the internals, then things get a little interesting here.
Because I had criticized the Reno 12F a lot on this channel.
The reason for that was that it came with a Snapdragon 685 chipset, which is already a very underpowered chipset.
In this mobile phone, there is a slight improvement in the form that the MediaTek Helio G100 has been installed here.
Now it is not that this processor is a very amazing processor.
We have not seen it in any phone before.
But if you compare it with the Reno 12F, then the difference in performance will be provided by this processor.
Additional Features
In this mobile phone, you also get to see IP68 water resistance.
So the mobile phone is providing you a very good water and dust resistance.
But the downside to that is that the SIM slot you are getting to see in this is not a full-fledged SIM slot.
It has 256GB of internal storage, and if you put a memory card in it, then you will get a single SIM option which will be available on this mobile phone.
Another thing which I would like to add related to SIM is that in this mobile phone, there is only the option of physical SIM cards available.
So the functionality of eSIM is not visible on this mobile phone.
You will be able to put both SIMs in this mobile phone physically.
Audio Quality and Gaming
On the upper side of this mobile phone, you get to see this speaker grill, which tells me that in this mobile phone, there is also a Deo speaker system.
If you talk about PUBG, then you will get the same performance which is available on the MediaTek Helio G100.
Because if you look at the Antutu score, then it is exactly the same which is available on other G100 mobile phones.
Value Justification
Now I would like to clear one thing — people criticize me and say that G100 is available in the range of Rs 50,000.
So how can you justify this in Rs 80,000?
Well, there are two things.
The first thing is that the company which is providing G100 in the range of Rs 50,000 — they are generally either low-end companies or you are looking at an old model and saying that it is coming in this range.
And we are seeing the same thing here — that in the range of Rs 80,000, you are getting to see G100.
In my opinion, again the same thing — if the 13F had a 5G variant and the processor would have been 5G, then it would have been much better.
ColorOS 15 and AI Features
The surprise is that Oppo has done a lot of work on this mobile phone.
In this mobile phone, you get to see Oppo’s OS 15 version and the ColorOS 15 version.
You get to see all the AI features which are available on its high-end versions — which I really liked.
The reason for that is that I was not expecting that you will get to see all the AI functionalities.
Most of the AI features are present in its camera.
You get to see the Gemini support.
Bloatware
On the name of bloatware, you get the hot games, hot apps folder.
You get the pre-installed Teebook application.
There is WPS Office and an extra thing called RealShot has been downloaded.
Apart from that, there are some other softwares, but you can delete them.
So bloatware is deleteable.
There is nothing that cannot be deleted.
Audio Quality
I was checking its speaker system.
And honestly speaking, I can guarantee you that in its price range, this is one of the nicest speakers which you will check out on any mobile phone.
The reason for that is that there are Deo speakers, and you get to see Oppo’s volume boost technology — which increases the volume.
The volume is very interesting.
So I would like to give full marks to Oppo.
Camera Review
As I told you, you get a dual camera setup on the back — which has 50MP and 8MP.
And you get a 32MP camera on the front.

Daytime Shots
Let’s discuss the daytime shots.
In the daytime, if you talk about the back camera — we liked the quality of the main camera.
And technically, the reason for that is — Oppo’s software algorithm is very strong.
And I am talking about the shots without any AI — the pictures without AI are very clear.
If you go to edit mode and click on AI editor, you can see here — you get an enhanced clarity mode through which you can enhance the clarity.
And it works exactly like Oppo’s other mobile phones.
It takes some time.
It requires internet.
But the details in the pictures are enhanced with the help of AI.
AI Features in Camera
And if you compare the pictures side by side — you might not notice the difference.
But if you see it on a computer screen, you can definitely see the difference.
You also have the option of AI eraser — through which you can remove anything that is present in the background.
As you can see, it has automatically selected the tree and it is recognizing it and removing it.
And it usually does a good job.
Sometimes after removing these things, it replaces them with an object — like here it has made a pole.
Apart from that, you have the option of unblur and the option of remove reflections is also available on this mobile phone.
Ultra Wide and Low Light
The ultra wide angle camera in the back camera provides very good results in the daytime.
The pictures come out very pleasant.
But when you zoom in, you feel that the quality of the camera is very less because of the 8 megapixel.
And this is the area where your AI editor will come in handy.
Because if you enhance this picture with AI, you will feel that you have taken this picture with a high resolution camera.
Without the help of AI clarity, you can see that the picture is not zooming in much.
But with the help of AI clarity, you can see that it has increased the resolution and the zoom in option in the picture has also increased.
This normally does a good job — especially in the daytime.
One more thing that I would like to add is that the video recording in this mobile phone is only 1080p 60fps — and this is the front and back of both the cameras.
Front Camera
The quality of the front camera is also very good.
In fact because of the 32 megapixel, this is one of the nicest front cameras that you can try out in any phone.
If you talk about low light performance — this is the area where you feel that the camera is suffering in some areas.
In the daytime, the camera gives very good results.
But as soon as you go into low light, you can see that the quality of the camera becomes low.
Again, if you go to the AI editor and enhance this, it makes things much better.
But in low light, the camera definitely suffers.
The video recording in the front camera is 1080p 30fps.
And one more thing that I liked in the front camera is that it is a little wider than normal front cameras.
Battery and Final Verdict
So overall if you want to know my opinion about the camera — I would say that in its price range, this is one of the nicest cameras that you can try out in any phone.
And one more thing that I liked about this mobile phone is the battery.
It has a 5800mAh battery, which is 800mAh more than the previous generation.
And 45W charging is also given — because of which this is one of the highest battery mobile phone in this price range.
And overall if you want to know my opinion about this mobile phone — then the opinion is very simple.
If you talk about the processor — then I feel that this mobile phone has been launched at Rs 10,000 more.
If this mobile phone would have been launched at Rs 69,999, then everyone would have been running after this mobile phone.
It would have outsmarted.
If it had a 5G variant — then it would have been better.
Overall if you can spend Rs 10,000 extra for OPPO, then you will like this mobile phone.
