Samsung Galaxy A Series: A Detailed Look
Assalam-o-Alaikum, this is Bilal Babur Diwazi Sarkar. The phone I am going to show you in today’s video is the biggest brother of the Samsung Galaxy A series. And I think this is the second most important device of the Samsung Galaxy A series.
I am calling it the second most important device because I think the Samsung Galaxy A26 is going to be very fit for most people. But the price tag of this mobile phone is Rs 1,38,999. This mobile phone is coming in a price segment where people are finally buying premium devices.
In this price segment, we get to see 2-3 pairs in the total Pakistani market which are playing. And in this segment, Samsung is already very strong. Because this is a segment in which people are starting to go in the category of brand conscious.
Design and Build Quality
If you take out the brand conscious thing on the side for a minute, then it is also going to be a very important device. Because the hardware of this mobile phone is very solid. I don’t waste time, I’ll explain to you which thing is the best in its price category. Which thing you can get better in other devices.
If you talk about the build of the mobile phone, then Samsung has used a lot of premium materials here. Its build is completely made of brushed aluminum. And it not only feels metal, but its hand feels very solid. There is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus on the back. And you are also getting Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus on the front. Which means that this mobile phone will not scratch easily. And we have been using this mobile phone for a long time without a screen protector. In fact, the unit that I have in my hand is the same unit that was installed on Samsung’s booth. And there is no scratch on this mobile phone yet. Generally, the phones installed on the booth get scratches. So I am assuming that the durability of the mobile phone is going to be very solid.
Display Features
First of all, let’s start with the display. Here is a 6.7-inch display which is a super AMOLED display. And here you get an in-display fingerprint scanner and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This in-display fingerprint scanner is not ultrasonic like Samsung’s high-end devices. In fact, here you get an optical fingerprint scanner. Which means that the fingerprint scanner will shoot light from below. And in the case of Samsung, their optical fingerprint scanners work a little slower than the Chinese brands. So this thing is definitely there. But if you talk about the quality of the display, then it is one of the best displays in this price range. The reason for this is that the bezels are also of low quality. And you can see the drop notch here. Which means that it is a punch hole camera.
Camera Performance
On the back of the mobile phone, there is a 50MP main camera. There is a 12MP ultrawide angle camera. And a 5MP macro sensor is installed. You will understand that the functionality of the zoom camera is not given in it. But its main camera is obviously a big sensor. So you can definitely zoom it digitally. And if you tell the megapixel count of this camera, then a 12 megapixel front camera has been given.
On the top side, you get to see the holes of two noise cancellation microphones. On the bottom side, there are your mics again. And apart from that, you get to see the Type-C port, your speaker grill and your SIM slot. The SIM slot in this is a dual SIM slot. That means you can put two SIMs in this mobile phone. But it is very important to add that in both Samsung’s A36 and A56, you do not get the option of a memory card. So there is no hybrid SIM slot here, but a full-fledged dual SIM. Which means that you will get the same storage that you will buy from the company. You can’t extend it later.
One more thing I would like to add is that we have also tested out its cameras. And as I told you that you get a 50MP main camera on the back. So let’s discuss that first. The performance of the back camera is seriously good. Like if you like Samsung’s flagship phones. Then I can guarantee that if you go 2 years ago. And take out the performance of Samsung’s flagship FE. Or even the performance of Samsung’s basic flagship phone. Its main camera is that good. You get to see optical image stabilisation in this. And the day time shots are very good. In fact, the performance of this phone in low light is very good. Now personally I would like to add this. And I would like to give a full disclaimer. I don’t like Samsung’s colours that much. I think Samsung makes it a little too white. But all the people I talk to in my office. They all say that they like Samsung’s colours. So if you are the person who likes Samsung’s colours. Then you will not only get daytime photography. But also its performance in low light is going to be very good. On the front and back of this phone. You get the option of 4K video recording. Portrait mode is also available here. And in this phone there are other high end modes. In which slow motion mode, dual recording, single take. All of these are available. One feature that I found very interesting. Is that in this phone there is the option of motion picture. Basically what it does is. If you click a picture from this. Then it records a small video. And after that you can also select. Which person’s face you want to tap and keep his smile. So if you want to click a picture of three people. Often it happens that one person is closing his eyes. One person is scratching his head. So this can fix that. This basically takes multiple shots of everyone. And you can do this. Use the face that looked good in the first picture. Use the face that looked better in the second picture. So essentially when you save the picture. Then everyone’s picture will look good. Hopefully my team will do this in B-roll format.
Performance and Specifications
If you talk about the price tag of this mobile phone, then it comes close to Rs 1,40,000. And in this price range, the main hardware that you get to see in this mobile phone is very interesting. The reason for this is that Exynos Now, generally, it used to happen that the Samsung processor that used to come in the phone used to be a little slow. And the mobile phones that came with the Snapdragon processor used to be fast. But what happened in recent times is that Snapdragon has become expensive. And Samsung phones are now providing better value for money. In fact, the performance of this mobile phone is more powerful than the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 that we have seen on many phones. And in this price range, some phones also provide you with Snapdragon 7th Gen 3. The performance of this mobile phone is more powerful than that. So the performance that you are going to get in this mobile phone, If you take out the full-fledged gaming phones that come with the flagship chipset, In which there is only a chipset, i.e. the camera is also different. Everything else is also different. So the performance of this mobile phone is very solid in its price category. And the interesting thing is that you are getting this from Samsung.
If you talk about RAM, then there is 8GB RAM in this mobile phone. 256GB internal storage is provided. And here I would like to add that leaving this price category, Below this, 12GB RAM has become standard in the Pakistani market. And with that, you get 512GB internal storage in some phones. Personally, I believe that if there is 8GB RAM in it, then there is no difference. Because more than 8GB RAM is not used. But there should have been 512GB storage in it. Now a high-end version of this is coming. But its exact launching is not confirmed to us. And the price tag of this mobile phone is expected to be around 1.5 lakh. I will put the exact price tag here. And if I get the highlight of that variant, then I will put that too. But its big brother is also coming. Which is going to be a little expensive than this.
Here you can also see the support of Widevine L1. So basically whatever you expect from a high-end phone. We are getting everything here. The storage here is also UFS 3.2 storage. And apart from that, you get to see all the sensors. Which you expect from a modern high-end phone.
Fingerprint scanner could have been a little faster here. And the battery of this mobile phone. Is of 5000 mAh. With which you get 45W fast charging. And these two specifications are also such. Which could have been a little better in my opinion. Now I didn’t find 45W less. Because in modern phones. Even in their high-end phones. Only 45W comes. But the 5000 mAh battery. Now in this price category. We are getting numbers like 6500 and 5800. There I will say that it could have been a little better.
Samsung’s Software Promise and AI Features
Now if you feel here that Bilal brother, you were saying at the start of the video that this is an important device. And now you are saying that some things are missing in it. So brother, I will tell you what is extra in it. First of all, Samsung’s promise has come in this mobile phone. Where Samsung promises that it will bring software upgrades for the next 6 years.
But the biggest thing is that all the latest features of Samsung’s AI. In which circle to search comes. Gemini comes, object eraser comes. Video editor comes. Which is a dedicated video editor. By the way, this software is available only in A56 and high-end phones. This is called Samsung’s Galaxy Studio. I think its exact name is Samsung Studio or Galaxy Studio. But basically you can edit videos in it. Just like there used to be iMovie on iPhones. That you used to get to see a very powerful editor from the company. It kind of works the same way. And if you are a vlogger or a person who makes videos from mobile. And wants to upload from mobile. So now after this editor, you will not have a problem in applying basic cut. The application of CapCut is still much more powerful than this. But it has more efficiency in it. That is, if you edit the video, it will quickly render it. Which I liked. And second, it is free with your mobile phone. If you talk about the performance of this mobile phone. As I told you, the performance of this mobile phone is very powerful in this price category. And the reason for that is that it provides you a score of 1 million on Antutu.

But this is still a very very very nice phone. And whoever will buy this. He won’t be disappointed. And this phone is going to run for a long time.
