What is Dengue?
Dengue is a viral infection which happens from mosquito bites Mosquitoes there are two mosquitoes which many cases of Dengue are coming daily one is Aedes Aegypti and second is Aedes Albopictus .
How Dengue Spreads
Mosquito grows in stagnant water . mosquito it can go many times nearby if community is small then it can go up to fifty to sixty houses it can affect many people.
Dengue Virus Types
Dengue is viral infection as I told it has four serotypes Dengue 1, Dengue 2, Dengue 3, Dengue 4 these four types are called serotypes.
Dengue is described from 1776 see how many years have passed and Dengue is still continuing and till now no effective medicine is there most important thing is protection from mosquitoes is very necessary.
Symptoms of Dengue
Now we try to know its symptoms. symptoms most important fever we studied whole study of Dengue in this hundred patients if Dengue then in hundred out of hundred patients fever occurs fever on average remains two to three days but maximum up to ten days fever’s special thing is that high fever comes in first two three days then afterwards decreases and many times second phase of fever also comes it comes back again fever comes around fifth sixth day so that is critical period in which chances of complications remain.With fever there is pain in muscles pain in abdomen it is called break bone fever headache occurs if eyes are moved then pain occurs at that time this is special thing after that there is rash in body and spots can appear which is rash an allergic reaction of this virus and some blood spots can also appear in skin that indicates towards complication and indicates most important thing that maybe platelets have decreased and other complications are seen in very less percent of people so no need to panic usually Dengue fever is self limiting that means it gets cured by itself within five to seven days.
Types of Dengue Fever
Now what care we should take on which symptoms we should pay attention from which we know that it is going towards complication so we divide it simple Dengue fever and severe Dengue fever.
Severe Dengue Fever Warning Signs
Severe Dengue fever has some warning signs basic problem in Dengue is that it goes into shock BP becomes low
to know when BP will become low there are some warning signs like fever is not going down platelets have gone down swelling in stomach urine output decreasing and you must have heard heaviness water filled in stomach or water filled in lungs in Dengue this happens that it goes into shock BP becomes low.To know when BP becomes low to know when BP becomes low that go to doctors and get platelets transfused this platelet transfusion in such way can be harmful unnecessary platelet transfusion as I told it is seen for bleeding for bleeding we must remain alert in this nosebleed can happen blood vomiting can happen blood in urine can happen and blood in stools can happen in this way we must remain alert for these things.

Treatment of Dengue
See very necessary to remain alert from Dengue but no need to panic Dengue complications are critical phase as I told that after 5 to 7 days starts in which blood pressure low and other complications happen which I told in warning signs so for that must take care consult doctor.
For simple Dengue fever we should take paracetamol tablet and take plenty of fluids if vomiting is not happening then oral fluids ORS solution fruit juices etc.
Hospitalization and Treatment
In hospitalization also simple treatment very simple treatment in starting phase if treated in hospitalization then death rate decreases becomes less than 1% if patient goes into shock whose BP is very low and treatment is not done then death rate can be more than 20% so magic treatment is simple very easy IV fluids are given which are given on doctor’s advice IV fluids given then within two days patient becomes absolutely fine.
But nowadays we also see some complications in which people are having problem that liver is also affected a little by Dengue in this there is no big issue fluids are given then further complications can be prevented so IV fluids paracetamol tablet if vomiting then medicines for vomiting taken on doctor’s advice and as soon as warning signs appear must consult doctor and get admitted.
Blood and Platelet Transfusion
Now on other side patient who came with bleeding more blood has gone of patient then what is done in this blood transfusion is given platelets below ten thousand then platelet transfusion single donor platelet it is called that can be given so this was information about treatment.
Prevention of Dengue
Now most important thing is not to let disease happen prevention how to prevent as I told in beginning that Dengue is mosquito borne disease so mosquitoes very necessary to avoid from them now how to avoid as I told earlier stagnant water clean water in stagnant water mosquitoes lay eggs and grow in it like after summers coolers most people use or in offices coolers are there coaching institutes have coolers .
if its water is not changed then mosquitoes grow with mosquitoes growing along they spread and people of institute or houses as I told they bite again and again.
